1. Who We Are

Navigator is a product of Infinity ("we," "us," or "our"). Navigator provides an AI-powered, personalized learning roadmap platform that helps individuals structure, track, and complete skill development goals.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Navigator web application, marketing site, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Infinity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Navigator. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.

3. Your Account

To access certain features of Navigator, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use Navigator only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision.

5. AI-Generated Content

Navigator uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised learning roadmaps, resource recommendations, quiz questions, and related content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date
• We make reasonable efforts to verify resource links, but we cannot guarantee the availability or accuracy of third-party resources
• Roadmaps and recommendations are guidance tools, not professional educational or career advice
• You are responsible for independently verifying any information that is material to a decision

We implement verification steps to reduce hallucinated or broken links, but no automated system is perfect. If you encounter an incorrect or broken resource, please report it to us.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials made available through Navigator — including but not limited to the Navigator wordmark, UI design, and roadmap generation system — are the intellectual property of Infinity or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our proprietary content
• Create derivative works based on our Service or its output for commercial use
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Service

Your own learning notes, annotations, and personal data that you input into Navigator remain yours. We claim no ownership over content you create.

7. Third-Party Links and Resources

Navigator may include links to third-party websites, videos, courses, articles, and other resources. These links are provided for your convenience and information. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, and accessing those resources is at your own risk.

Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before interacting with those platforms.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Navigator may offer free and paid tiers of service. If you subscribe to a paid plan:

• You authorise us to charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand
• You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@navigatorapp.co within 14 days of a charge if you believe one was made in error

All prices are stated in the applicable currency and are inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infinity disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Infinity, its directors, employees, partners, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £50 GBP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Infinity and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of or access to the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.

You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@navigatorapp.co so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
